Aerial view of Tangmere
A present day aerial view of Tangmere Airfield.

Many parts of the airfield are still in existance. Much of the taxiways and parts of the runways are still there. The large greenhouses in the foreground are in fact built on one of the runways. The original RAF hangers still stand - and are now used for storage. The WW2 control tower is on the grass in the foreground, and is due for restoration.

St. Andrews Church spire can be seen against a field 1/3 way from the left hand side of the picture, and the Tangmere Air Museum is the light coloured building near the left hand edge.
